The Naughties Get Down with the Smutketeers



Hi everyone, and thanks to the Naughty Nine for switching with the Smutketeers. Ooh-that sounded kinky--or is that just me? We *are* the Smutketeers, after all, and we’re called that for a reason! We are purveyors of smut, happy smut peddlers, deliciously deviant, indelicately indecent, relishers of ribaldry, the smut-tastically smutty Smutketeers! We are a group of authors who write smut. What is smut, you may ask? Let’s look at a dictionary definition:

smut



–noun

1. a particle of soot; sooty matter.

2. indecent language or publications; obscenity.

4. to soil or smudge.

–verb: - smuts , smutting , smutted

-to become affected with smut.

- to make obscene

-to emit smut

Indecent language or publications-that’s us! Obscenity? Sometimes, but only at the most charmingly inappropriate moments. To soil or smudge? Well, sex *is* messy, and sometimes that simply can’t be helped. To become affected with smut? We certainly hope so. To make obscene? Yes, please. But our favorite is the part about emitting smut-we hadn’t thought of that. Perhaps the essence of smuttiness wafts around us like a favorite perfume. It would have to smell of cherries and chocolate, contain the scents of a clean white T-shirt and a little leather, and the lovely, sensual fragrance of heated skin. Obscene? Indecent? Oh, yes…and we love it!

But what else are we aside from our smuttiness? We are a group of authors and friends who love to write, and love each other.     Daydrmzzz-I don't know how you managed to be the first one, since you're here on the West Coast with me-lol! But Yayyy for smut in the morning! Morning is one of my favorite times for it...*G*
    flcehn1-we do love the swapping-lol!-but I actually meant 'switching', as in sometimes on top, sometimes on bottom-a few of us can wield a flogger-just sayin'...*G*
    Stacie-the SANK ME rulers were Skylar's-I think everyone loved them-lol!
    Ive-glad you like the new pic! Our recent steampunk photo shoot at the historical Lummis Home was awesome, and we can't wait to unveil the rest of the pics! We're just waiting for me to get a new computer tonight (mine died on Friday-wah!) so we can finish wading through all 200 of them. :)
    Cassondra-although we write pretty serious stuff, for the most part, we still think sex should be fun! Hope you enjoy the Smutketeers blog!

    Could never understand why the word smut is so upsetting to some people. Where would romance be, the sex be without smut? As a lover of the best books out there, I guess I am a lover of smut. I can live with that..**snickering**, and gladly so!
