Surviving Winter

It's snowing...again.

By the end of today we'll have had about two feet dumped on us in the last couple of days. I don't think Mother Nature got the message that the ground hog didn't see his shadow. She really should be wrapping things up by now I think. On top of the snow, my boys are home and hyped up by the unexpected day off from school. The way I see it, I only need a few select things to get me through the day and the rest of the winter.

1. A plow service. My arms are really tired of shoveling, and with a temperamental snow blower, I've been doing a lot of shoveling. But now that the banks are taller than I am in places, I'd have better luck slaying demons than tossing heavy piles of snow above my head.

2. A personal chef. One that wouldn't mind cooking topless and showing off a yummy six pack I can admire while I'm sipping wine and watching him whip me up a feast.

3. Kids that will clean their own rooms. Which is probably even less likely than number four.

4. Gerard Butler. I think this one is pretty self explanatory. :)

5. Someone to finish my book. Yes, headphones are my friend, especially when the musical sounds of Barney are competing with Super Mario Galaxy and the yells of fierce competition between my boys, but even I can only be so productive under those conditions.

What about you? What do you need to get through the rest of winter, or even just the rest of the week?

A maid........no joke. Plus, someone to mow our lawn. I would like him to be at least 6'5, black hair and blue eyes.......ok, back from Fantasy Land...I live in Texas so even though we got snow, we didn't get as much as some but we have had our share of cold weather. Ready for spring and the flowers to bloom.

Oooooh, I want a lawn guy too. Maybe that should go on my Surviving Summer list. :)

Since I live in Miami *ducks from flying objects* lol I really don't need anything for me to get out of the winter blues. But I would love a whole painting crew, I need to paint the inside of my house and at 3,000 sq. ft feel a little overwhelmed haha.

A promise that March won't be the snowiest month of the year as it has been the last couple of years here in CO!

Can I also get # 2, 3 & 4 esp. #4 and maybe he can give me dailey massages , you know I bet he could cook to and get the kids to clean thier rooms so maybe all I need in #4, yeah that sounds good to me.

Well I could ship you some of our snow if you'd really like some, Ivelisse I'm nice like that. :)

Fingers crossed for both of us, Meg.

You're completely right, Zina. Four covers just about all the bases. I wouldn't even have to worry about writing with him around. Book? What book? LOL

a housekeeper, a chef, and plenty of valium. My mil is in the hospital 50 miles from our house and of course she didn't go to the hospital I work at no she went 50 miles the other direction from home so technically she in the hospital 85 miles from where I work. God love her but she drives me bats sometimes. and now she's bitching that they haven't found what's wrong with her yet. I tried to get to go to a different hospital not that little small one. So i probably need a chauffer too lol.
