As you may have noticed (you did read our round-up post on Monday, didn't you?) we've been working pretty hard all summer. We still wanted to party, but none of us had the time to plan something like that.
Luckily, we have awesome characters, some of whom were more than happy to step in and help us out. So, now it's time to party with the Naughty Nine--and friends. And, of course, as always YOU'RE invited to join in the fun!
First to volunteer her services was Tess Bonham, professional party planner from Kate Davies aptly titled, Life of the Party. Tess thought it would be fun to make Margarita cupcakes. We couldn't agree more!
She also came up with some innovative decorating ideas, such as reusing household items like mason jars in unusual ways like these HERE A checkered tablecloth, some fresh flowers, and lots of food and drink, and our party is ready to go!
Tristan Callaghan, Sydney Somer's sexy shape-shifter from Primal Hunger, is also the co-owner of the bar Pendragon. He's offered his bartending services. No doubt he'll have his work cut out for him with this crew!
And, speaking of drinks, the special of the day is Amanda's Favorite Mojitos. The recipe (which can be found HERE) comes courtesy of Amanda Dixon, heroine of Erin Nicholas' new story, She's the One.
Sadly, Juniper Bell couldn't make it because she's stuck in Regency England until MY THREE MASTERS comes out. Her friend Jennifer Bernard is attending in her place, however, and bringing some of the sexy Bachelor Firemen of San Gabriel.
They'll be manning the grill and providing fire protection ... oh, and offering a little off-the-cuff entertainment as needed. And when all that hot, sweaty work is done, well we're sure they'll find some way to cool off. Jump in, the water's fine (and so are the men!)
Matt, Corey and Dylan from Kelly Jamieson's With Strings Attached and Slammed are also coming to the party. Matt’s bringing beer (Riptide Red Ale--yum!) from his brew pub Laguna Dorada. Corey’s bringing handcrafted chocolates from her chocolate shop Decadent Indulgence. And Dylan is giving surfing lessons at the beach.
Keilor, from Skylar Kade's Heat Up the Night, is the head chef at Parthenon, the hottest new restaurant in Las Vegas.
Mediterranean cuisine is his specialty, so he's bringing spanakopita--his Yiayia's recipe--and grilling lamb skewers.
Joining Keilor in the kitchen today is none other than Joe LaBlanc, sexy head chef of The Rose, from Meg Benjamin's Konigsburg, TX series. Joe is the hero of Fearless Love, of course, but he also appears in Don't Forget Me. He'll be whipping up some spaghetti with anchovies (excerpt HERE)
Sinead Quinn and Adam Sasso from Touch of a Vanished Hand (book 5 in PG Forte's Oberon series) planned to be here, but they seem to have gotten a bit...er, distracted. But they did send dessert, one of Sinead's famous peach galettes (recipe and excerpt here) and a couple of bottles of Adam's award winning pinot noir.
So how do YOU join in? Easy peasy. Just leave a comment below telling us what you'd bring to the party (or which of our characters you'd like to see host future parties!) any day between now and Saturday and you'll be entered to win a $50 gift certificate.

How VERY fun! I think I'll ask a bunch of masseurs to drop by to help us get rid of all those pesky kinks ;) And maybe a bevy of technicians to give us the mani-pedis of our dreams after...
I love seeing all the character hosts! Delightful to run into all of them here as well!
OMG! Love it! Let's see, what would I bring to the party. With this group, I think if I brought nine different types of wine, I'd be the guest of honor.
What characters would I like to see??
Kelly's - Though I would love to have Dylan (Slammed) again, I think my heart belongs to the Heller boys and I think I would like to have Logan (One Man Advantage) there, just because. :)
PG's - Wow, this is hard. I love Dan, but I am thinking pasta would be good so I am going with Nick (Oberon Series).
Meg - Though I really have a thing for Hank (Bolted), I think I am going with Greta. That girl can cook. She can still bring Hank. I'll keep him company.
Juniper's - Dustin (Doll)can provide the fish. I am sure Greta can come up with something. Maybe a good old fish fry.
Kate's - Tom (Take a Chance on Me) in case I find myself lost in the dark. (Broke my foot at a party once getting lost in the dark - no joke)
Kinsey's - Cade (Yours, Mine, and Howls). If I get cold, he can shift and keep me warm.
Skylar's - David (A Love Worth Living), because he will make sure everyone is fed.
Sydney's - Tristan, Cale, and Cian (Pendragon Gargoyles) because they'll provide the booze.
Erin's - Mac (Just My Type) because he is my book boyfriend AND Marc (Anything You Want) because I love his pie making technique. ;)
BTW - This took me a lot longer to type than I had planned because I went back to check on something and ended up re-reading one of your books. Had to make myself stop. :p
This party sounds AWESOME!!!! I would definitely bring some good party music! My iPod is loaded with lots of good ol rock n roll and some awesome dance tunes. Nothing gets the party going like music & dancing!! :D
Oh what a great party this is. I would bring the strawberries, chocolate and whipped cream...Nothing says a party like a little bit of fun and sinful desserts to be fed to those hot fireman....
You know, I can't eat this anymore but Evil, chocolate chop cookie, peanut pretzel bars were always a hit, and a pitcher of margaritas is bound to make anyone popular. I I can find it I will gladly share the the cookie bar recipe - it is truly the most evil and decadent party food.

Alright I'm pulling out the big guns for this party.
I'd make a batch of my famous Brandy Alexanders.... Coffee Ice Cream, Brandy and Chocolate Syrup (great for other activities as well)
Followed by a Black Forrest Trifle. Lots of Whipped Cream and sweet black cherries.
I do have to say, I'm sad Juniper couldn't attend but I do LOVE Jennifer's Firemen. I'm very excited about Vader's story coming soon! I wouldn't miss a chance to see him strip down to his boxers. But Conner Dixon's friends might get a little jealous.

I'm definitely coming to the party. I'll bring some Sangria and Margaritas.
Hey Fedora--I like my kinks just where they are!! Thought I will take a massage/mani/pedi, and hopefuly from a sexy masseur--like the guys they had at RT2011. Remember that, Juniper?
This party is really hoppin! I may swoon and have to be caught by one of the strapping young men in attendance.
I would love to come. I love firemen books, hot, hot. I think I will bring some sort of fruity drinks. Nothing better for a hot summer day.
I´ll bring the drunken sing-along LOL or try at least. I can hum? =D
Sounds like an awesome party!
Happy Wednesday!

Have I told y'all about when my sister and I lived together in an apartment and the stove caught fire?
I was out with guy friends, she was home alone. Turned on a burner, WHOOSH big flames. She called 911, then put it out w/baking soda. Called 911 back but they told her apartment fires were too dangerous, they're still sending a truck.
5 or 6 firemen showed up - bc yeah, apartment fires can be very dangerous. Somehow she'd had the presence of mind to brush her hair & put on lipstick before they got there.
This was way before texting but she did try to call my big ass circa 1995 car phone but I didn't answer.
When I got home she spent an hour telling me about having 6 big gorgeous hunks in our little bitty kitchen until I finally told her to shut the hell up.
I bet they looked like the guys in the picture. And we live in Houston, mind you - I think our fire dept. was the first one to do a calendar.
My timing has always sucked like that.
You all are bringing AMAZING stuff! Eating, drinking, dancing, what could be better!
Kim, I love your comment!!
A friend of mine makes margaritas with beer in them. It's awesome.
hmmm I think I would bring some hot fudge, Ice cream, whipped cream, and cherry's. I firefighter sundae I think.... :)

I would totally bring a camera to to take photos of all those delicious firemen!! Maybe start a calendar :)
I wish there was a like button for comments on Blogger. :-)
I've never even had them and I'm in the mood for those margarita cupcakes!
I think I'd have to bring some yummy Sangria or Peach Bellinis sounds good too. A nice summertime drink to cool us off with all of those hot men. LOL!
I think I will bring some juicy fresh fruit and cabana boys to feed it to us :) LOL
ROFL! Skylar, you can leave THOSE kinks right where they are--in fact, you can work those right into your next story for us ;) And Juniper, don't you have some NEW characters to join the fun today? :D
Oh, cabana boys! How did we forget about them?
Water balloons.......for some up close and personal poolside party games....with those hunky guys of course.
Nothing like a good pig roast!!
An experienced Dom or two? For an outdoor on the spot taste of kink for the curious..... At the very least good for inspiration ;)
well lets see i think i would bring baby oil so i could rub the muscles of all those HOT firemen!

Strawberry Margarita Jello Shots
Ingredients:
24-30 Strawberries
Margarita Mix
1 box Strawberry Jell-O
8 ounces tequila, preferably reposado or blanco
6 ounce Cointreau
Salt for garnish
Directions:
Strawberry Prep:
Cut the bottoms of the strawberry flat to get them to stand upright. When you do so, make sure that you do not cut off so much that there is a hole at the bottom.
Use a huller or apple corer to empty out the strawberry.
Once the strawberries have been emptied, use a towel to pat the outside of the strawberries dry.
Check each strawberry and make sure there is not a hole in the bottom before you start filling.
Margarita Mix
Boil one cup of hot water in a saucepan, then add in Jell-o powder and whisk until powder is completely dissolved, about 2 minutes. Set aside. Measure out 1/4 cup of cold water and set aside.
Combine tequila and Cointreau, in cocktail shaker filled with ice. Add liquour mixture to cold water and stir to combine. Then add cold liquour mixture to hot Jell-o mixture and stir to combine.
Pour final Jell-o mix into strawberries and chill overnight. Dip your finger in water or use a moistened brush to wet the edge of the strawberries, dip and rotate the strawberries in salt to rim. Garnish with cut lime triangles to finish.
I'd say massage oil and lubricant for a party hosted by them ssteamy firemen (really like firemen nyum)
OMG Margreet I SO want those jello shots!!
Ahem, Skylar - take note.
Kelly, they're even more scrumptious if you dip the bottom in dark chocolate. It ensures nothing spills out the bottom either! THAT would be a waste.
OMG, I bring me to the party so I could enjoy all those fringe benefits. Plus a few bottles of wine and some beer. I'm into liquid refreshment LOL
And the winner is: MamaMasseyWVU! Congrats!!
You all are seriously amazing! Thank you so much!
